Is this remote job worth applying for?

Check five common restrictions before tailoring your resume. This tool does not inspect a job listing: you compare its written requirements with your situation. Get a transparent summary and decide what to clarify.

1. Does the employer explicitly permit applicants based in your country?

A job labeled “remote” can still be limited to a country or region.

2. Does the employer accept your intended employment arrangement?

For example, employee, independent contractor or employer-of-record. An international contractor role is not automatically the same as a US employee role.

3. Can you truthfully meet the stated work-authorization requirements?

Only use “yes” when you have checked any applicable requirement. If none is stated, choose “not clear.” This is not legal advice.

4. Can you meet any mandatory working-hour or time-zone overlap?

Consider daylight-saving changes and required on-site visits if they are clearly stated.

5. Does the stated compensation meet your minimum needs?

A pay mismatch is a practical deal-breaker, not a legal work-eligibility restriction.

The answers stay in this browser tab. No account, upload or external API call is required. This is a preparation aid, not confirmation by an employer and not an assessment of visa or tax law.
